The
consequence of all this is that the vote is not free anymore and participation
remains an empty word.
The
economical panorama, on the other hand, is dominated by big groups, tied with the
political leading class: all this increases the politicians’ privileges to the
prejudice of the consumer-citizen, who has no more possibilities to weigh his
personal economic choice.
The
information system, enslaved to the same logic, joins the political and
economical interests of those who are in power and thus it is absolutely
incapable to promote the democratic control of the society.
So when a
long series of abuses, illegalities, frauds and robberies draw a distressing
panorama of the injustice of our country, when citizens are not willing anymore
to bear the effects of a national and local misgovernment that acts out of
control and which contrasts the interest and the common good, the only
alternative to the chasm of tyranny is to recover from the bottom the deep
sense of democracy.
So that
citizens can trust again, it is necessary, to give back to politics the dignity
and the prestige that are today suffocated by the avidity of the power of the
“Class” and by rebuilding democracy of facts and not only of words, through the
direct dialogue and the open comparison with all the citizens.
DEMOCRATIC
EMERGENCY, national movement founded by citizens of every social extraction
(none of who are
politicians by profession) proposes, in the interest of future generations : 1)
a drastic reduction of the political costs, starting from the halving of the
salaries of parliamentarians; 2) a radical cut to the wastes of the public
sector; 3) an effective replacement of the leading class.
For these
battles, DEMOCRATIC EMERGENCY appeals to the citizens of good will, by inviting
them to not surrender and to collaborate actively so that in an always more
European Italy democracy can be reborn and recover fully the principles and the
values of our republican Constitution born from our Resistance.
